Anzac Day (April 25th) commemorations are going to look different this year.

That doesn’t mean that you can’t still get involved.

Anzac Day at home
Honour the Australian servicemen and servicewomen who have served our country by leaving a message of support and a digital poppy at: www.lestweforget.gov.au

5.00 AM – Commemorative service
The Australian War Memorial in Canberra will hold a private, nationally televised Anzac Day commemorative service. You can watch it on ABC TV, tune in to ABC Radio or livestream on Facebook or iView. Fine out more at: www.awm.gov.au/anzacathome

6.00 AM – Light up the Dawn
Across the nation, Australians are being invited to honour the service of our Defence Forces, past and present, by standing at their front door, on the balcony or in their driveway to observe a minute’s silence. Find out more: www.facebook.com/events/1369894726549555

11.30 AM – RSL Tasmania Service
In a special event, RSL Tasmania and the Tasmanian Government will hold a private service that can be streamed. You can watch the service via ABC Hobart’s Facebook page here: www.facebook.com/abchobart/ or tune in to ABC local radio. Find more information at: www.rsltas.org.au
