Get ready Burnie! A great evening where you can feast on prime local produce and sample superb brews – all whilst listening to The Coachmen.

Burnie Bite and Brew is on again Friday night 7th Feb from 5pm, and will be held in the Burnie Baptist Church Car Park, with entry points at Wilson Street (next door to council offices) or from Mount Street (across from Target).

Burnie City Council Mayor Steve Kons said “it’s after work drinks in a relaxed atmosphere, with cold brews, hot street food and cool tunes.”

Bite and Brew will include:

  • The Chapel who are crazy excited for a huge crowd for their beers, wings and many other delicious treats.
  •  Deviant Distillery where they blend tradition with the now to bring you quality hand crafted Tasmanian whisky & spirits without the BS-so you can have your cocktail and drink it too.
  •  Mount Gnomon Farm where their beer is made by smoking malt at the same time as the bacon, replicating a traditional smokey beer flavour when malt barley was cooked over flames before being turned into beer. Plus cider made from their heritage apples.
  •  Henry’s Ginger Beer where their family has been living and making ginger beer in this region for generations. It’s with a strong tie to tradition, place and family that they’ve crafted their Original Ginger Beer.

With council, traders, vendors and patrons working together we are doing our bit for the War on Waste. We use BioCup, plastic free and 100% organic - made from a plant-derived bioplastic.

Burnie Bite & Brew is a Smoke Free and licensed event, admission $5 per adult
