This collaboration from two of Australia’s finest classical musicians, Slava and Sharon Grigoryan, combines their formidable talents to present a concert for guitar and cello with works by Vivaldi, Granados, Piazzolla and more. They are performing on Wednesday 10 April, 7.30 pm, in the Burnie Regional Art Gallery. 

Slava Grigoryan is regarded as a wizard of the guitar, and has forged a prolific reputation as a classical guitar virtuoso. He has received 3 ARIA awards and an incredible 24 ARIA Award nominations. 

Sharon Grigoryan’s current position as cellist with the Australian String Quartet is the most recent appointment in a career spanning 15 years. She has performed with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, the Australian Chamber Orchestra, the Mahler Chamber Orchestra and Spira Mirabilis Chamber Orchestra, as well as being a core member of the Melbourne Chamber Orchestra. She is Artistic Director of the Barossa, Baroque and Beyond Music Festival.
