Council is seeking to appoint a Recreations and Activities Officer.
About the Role
The Recreations and Activities Officer is responsible for supporting the fair, safe and peaceful use and enjoyment of Councils community, recreation and sporting facilities and public places, including for seasonal and occasional use by individuals and by organised sporting and recreation groups.
The role involves the administration and management of processes for allocation and availability of facilities, and for compliance to user agreements and responsibilities.
A large component of the role is dealing directly with both internal and external contacts on a daily basis.
We need you to be a motivated, organised and engaged person with strong administration, organisational, and interpersonal skills. You will be a high performer with the ability to use sound judgement, follow process, work collaboratively within a team, and thrive on delivering exceptional service.
