Stage 2 of the waterfront upgrade is progressing well.
Burnie waterfront public toilet closure
Council wishes to advise that the public toilets at the waterfront, adjacent to the Surf Club will be closed to the public from Friday, 19 August – Tuesday, 23 August 2011.
Extra boardwalk access for pedestrian safety
Work is set to commence shortly on the West Beach boardwalk to provide an extra pedestrian access point onto North terrace between Alexander Street and King Street.
