Under the provisions of the Local Government (Highways) Act 1982 and Council By-Laws, the following street will be closed within the City of Burnie on Saturday, 25 February 2012 from 7.00am to 4.00pm to facilitate the City Link Sidewalk Sellout:

Applications are invited from sporting bodies, schools and organisations to apply for the use of Burnie City Council Sports Grounds for the winter season commencing 1 April 2012 and ending 30 September 2012.

Due to unforeseen project delays, Council wishes to advise the public that Camena Road at the Blythe River, will be closed to all traffic from 7.30am on 13 February to 5.00pm on 16 April 2012 to allow for the reconstruction of the Blythe River Bridge.

Due to kerb and channel roadworks in Bay Street (between Wood Street and Mollison Street), vehicle parking in this section will not be available from 7.30am Monday 16 January until further notice (approximately four weeks).
