The Australian Breastfeeding Association celebrate new resource library
The Australian Breastfeeding Association – Burnie Group was successful in obtaining a Financial Assistance Grant from the Burnie City Council in October 2010, to develop a library of resources for parents in the Burnie community.

New boardwalk construction underway
Burnie's waterfront will boast a new boardwalk this year with construction currently underway. Sections of the boardwalk will be closed throughout the 6-month construction phase, from Monday, 4 January 2010.
