The Burnie Civic Centre has a range of functional spaces that can be tailored to your needs. In addition, more than 100 metres of foyer space can be opened up or divided for privacy.
The largest function room is more than 600 square metres, suited to major presentations, comprehensive expos or conference dinners. Smaller 'breakout' or training rooms give you full flexibility for seminars and workshops, while the more formal Civic Theatre lends itself to formal presentations by keynote speakers. The complex has a wide range of audio and visual equipment and our professional audiovisual manager is on-site to ensure that displays and presentations can be delivered smoothly and effectively.
We have full in-house catering services and offer fresh, locally-grown delicacies and regional wines. Our record of satisfied guests speaks for itself. Delegates can unwind with walks along wildlife trails through nearby Burnie Park and local reserves, or along West Beach, just a 3 minute walk from the Civic Centre. For a different take on the nightlife, visit the city's beachside penguin colony at the Little Penguin Centre.
The centre has ample parking. Burnie's airport is only 15 minutes away, providing a one-hour connection to Melbourne. |
