The centre includes a recycle area and a tip shop where items can be dropped off for FREE, a waste transfer area and a best practice landfill. Jones Waste Management operate the tip shop for Council.

The site has non-landfill stockpiles for building and demolition reuse materials including scrap steel, timber, concrete/brick/masonry/asphalt and soils/rock.

The Waste Management Centre is open seven (7) days a week.

  • Monday to Friday   9 am to 4 pm
  • Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays 12 noon to 4 pm

The centre is closed on Christmas Day, Good Friday & ANZAC day.

Recycling Area

Here you can drop off recyclables and paper / cardboard for FREE.

Tip Shop

Drop off your old items and pick up a bargain
  • reusable bric-a-brac, furniture, furnishings
  • building materials
  • plumbing fixtures(basins, taps, joiners, baths etc)
  • doors and windows
  • light fittings, door handles and similar hardware
  • and much more

The Toll Booth

The toll-booth operator provides advice on materials suitable for recycling and the options for waste disposal.  The operator records your load and directs you to the appropriate area.

Waste Transfer Area

There are several waste skip bins which are transferred to the landfill.  Customers are asked to observe the signs and dispose waste as directed.  There is a timber only bin which is transferred to the timber stockpile. 
A member of Jones Waste Management staff recovers materials for the tip shop and re-use.

E-Waste Bin

Computers, monitors and other electronic items can be disposed of for a small fee.
Old mobile phones and batteries can be disposed of at the tip shop for FREE.

Green Waste Area

All green waste can be deposited in the destination area. It is chipped to be used as landfill cover or mulch.

Don't forget to present your green waste voucher at the toll-booth. The toll booth operator will hole punch the voucher to the value of your load. You will be required to pay the balance if your load is more than the remaining value.

Take care not to dispose green waste contaminated with general rubbish such as plastic bags, drink containers, rope etc. or you may incur a waste disposal fee.
