City Services >> Recycling & Waste >> Domestic Recycling Collection

Separating recyclable materials from your household waste stream reduces waste to landfill, uses less energy and protects the environment.

Recyclables are collected weekly by Jones Waste Management on the same Collection Day as your waste.

All households within the urban collection area are supplied with a 60 L recycling crate.  The crate remains the property of Jones Waste Management, but it is your responsibility to take care of it.  Should you relocate, please leave the crate at the property.

Crate and Materials Placement

Place your recycling crate at the kerbside 1 metre from your waste wheelie bin.

All plastics, tins, cans, glass bottles, milk and juice cartons can be placed in the crate.  Cardboard, paper/newspaper must be flattened, bundled and tied and placed next to your crate.

Recyclables

The recyclables that can be placed in your crate are shown here.
