Aquatic Centre

Sweeping green fields, trees of many species, a rose garden, rhododendrons, a waterfall, a music shell, a memorial cenotaph, a fire fighting demonstration track, playgrounds, barbecues, picnic furniture and toilet facilities are all featured within a 1.5km drive of the City centre (Post Office), at Burnie Park.
Reserves
One of Burnie's most valuable natural and recreational resources is a peaceful river valley haven on the edge of the city.
Skate Park
The City of Burnie's skateboard facilities are located outside the Western end of the West Park Oval, the facility incorporates approximately 90 tricks and caters for beginners right through to challenging the skills of advanced skaters.
Sport
Burnie is blessed by indoor and outdoor sporting facilities, all within easy reach of the City centre.<BR>They include the Burnie Sports Centre in Upper Burnie overlooking the City, the Burnie Police and Citizens Boys & Girls Stadium and the Burnie Aquatic Centre at Terrylands.
