Community
On Easter Sunday afternoon, the Burnie City Park is transformed into a wonderful world of fun, offering something amazing around every corner.
Burnie’s annual New Years Eve event transforms the city’s CBD and foreshore into an exciting, highly inclusive New Years Eve experience that unites the community.
CBC Music Workshop (Concert & Brass Bands and Choir) was held in September 2010, it was facilitated by Sonny Chua and was successful in expanding the existing musical skills and successfully blended instrumental with vocal in a musical environment.
Burnie City Council's goals are to further develop a cohesive, caring and stimulating community, enhancing quality of life and providing access to a range of responsive services, facilities and programs.
