International Jazz Day

International Jazz Day occurs every year on April 30; and was created by UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) to highlight Jazz and it diplomatic role in uniting people around the globe.

2017 will be the 6th International event the Burnie Arts and Function Centre look forward to celebrating with you.

Paul Williamson has played in jazz, R&B and rock settings with such names as Vince Jones, Dire Straits, Men At Work, and Renee Geyer to name just a few.  He has toured extensively around the world, playing at live shows, festivals and as a guest performer on television including Countdown, the Late Show, Spicks and Specks and many more.  Paul also leads his own group the Paul Williamson Hammond Combo since 1991.
