The Epic

The Epic is a retelling of the toughest stories from around the world. The Epic is fun. Some of the stories are outrageous, some are freaky, all of them are EPIC! These are amazing and strange stories you’ll be sharing long after the show

Brought to you by Ten Tonne Sparrow – who are Finn O’Branagáin and Scott Sandwich; Epic will be performed in the Arts Theatre on Saturday 17 March, 7.30 pm.

“A fantastic collection of stories from around the world, delivered by two storytellers passionate about epic tales and keen and bright-eyed in their enthusiastic sharing of various characters and narratives.” - Australian Stage

During their visit, Finn & Scott will also facilitate a “Page to Stage” writing and performance workshop. This workshop will be held on Saturday 17 March, at 1.00 pm and is ideal for high school drama students through to emerging artists. Places are limited and bookings are essential. This workshop is supported by MMG Rosebery through the arts UNEARTHED Program.

Burnie City Council Mayor Alvwyn Boyd said “the arts UNEARTHED program provides access to quality arts experiences for the community through audience development activities, workshops and opportunities to exhibit and perform. Council thanks MMG for their ongoing support of arts in our community.”
