Slipstream is lost and found

Slipstream Circus will be performing Lost & Found at the Burnie Arts & Function Centre Theatre on Friday 8 July and Saturday 9 July at 7pm.

In a tightly choreographed hour, Slipstream Circus seeks to answer what it means to be lost, to be found, and to exist somewhere in between.

The cream of Tasmania’s youth-circus crop takes centre-stage to present a mesmerisng and contemporary examination of a classic art form.

Slipstream students seek to provide a fresh, individual take on established circus favourites, and to introduce original elements to the circus vocabulary through the manipulation of everyday objects in a quest to discover the extraordinary in the ordinary.
