Making Burnie 2030 five year review

Burnie City Council is undertaking a five year review of the Making Burnie 2030 community strategic plan.

As part of this process, various community conversations are scheduled to take place over the coming weeks, and Council is inviting members of the general public to come along and review how we as a community are tracking across a number of key performance indicators.

Burnie City Council Mayor Anita Dow said, “These conversations will also provide us with an opportunity to test the future directions and strategic objectives of the Making Burnie 2030 plan.”

Three public sessions will be held:

  • Tuesday 24 November from 12noon until 1:30pm – The Point, West Park - RSVP by Friday, 20 November
  • Thursday 26 November from 5pm until 6:30pm – Burnie Child and Family Centre, Acton - RSVP by Tuesday, 24 November
  • Tuesday 1 December from 12noon until 1:30pm – The Point, West Park - RSVP by Friday, 27 November

These sessions are open to anyone who has an interest in Burnie and shaping our city’s future.

Those interested in attending should RSVP to Carolyn Lucas on 6430 5718
