Burnie Regional Art Gallery is thrilled to present jazz violinist and vocalist George Washingmachine on Monday 26 February at 7.30pm.

A multitalented performer and composer, George Washingmachine has been involved in the entertainment industry for many years. A consummate performer, he works in television, theatre & film as well as hosting jazz festivals and events such as Sydney’s Jazz in the Domain. For this performance he will be accompanied by Sophie Leslie on vocals, Viktor Zappner on piano, Michael Anderson on bass and Bruce Innocent on drums.

Mayor Alvwyn Boyd said, “If you love jazz then you will love this performance”.

“George Washingmachine is an internationally recognized star and we are so pleased that he is visiting Burnie. The Gallery is a great venue for this sort of intimate performance.”

Jazz @ The Gallery is supported by the Burnie Arts Council (Arts Unearthed Program) and Burnie Regional Art Gallery sponsors. It is a fund raising event for the Burnie Regional Gallery. Door Sales open at 7.00pm and the concert will start promptly at 7.30pm. All tickets $15, cash bar with refreshments available.
