Free movie screening as part of Food on the Foreshore

Burnie City Council and 3BG (Burnie Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Burnie Tourism Association & CityLink) will be holding a free movie screening of School of Rock as part of the Food on the Foreshore event this Saturday 25 February 2017.

Burnie City Council Mayor Anita Dow said, “Over the past couple of weekends, Council, in conjunction with 3BG, has held a Food on the Foreshore event on the waterfront and this weekend we are very pleased to be able to include a free movie as part of the event.”

School of Rock is a great family friendly movie, and it will make for a lovey night down at the waterfront.”

“There will be a variety of food vendors on-site from 5pm including Street Eats, Turkish Food Van, Shazza’s BBQ, Running on Empty Catering and Scrumptious Thai.”

“The movie starts at 6pm, so there is plenty of time to come and grab something delicious to eat and then settle in for the movie.”

People are encouraged to bring their own chairs, picnic rugs, blankets.
