Draft CBD Masterplan on public display

The Draft CBD Masterplan will be on public display today (Wednesday 3 August) and tomorrow (Thursday 4 August) at the former Bakers Dozen shop in the Centro Shopping Complex.

John Ayers from GHD will be on hand from 8:30am to 5pm each day, to discuss the draft Masterplan with interested members of the public and to take their feedback.

Burnie City Council Deputy Mayor Alvwyn Boyd said, “The Masterplan is about developing a long term vision for development in Burnie’s CBD.”

“This is a great opportunity for people to come along and have a close look at the draft Masterplan, and to also have their questions answered by the plan’s developers.”

“Council wants as many people and businesses as possible to have input into the Masterplan, and this is another way that they can do that.”

The draft CBD Masterplan is also available on Council’s website, www.burnie.net and copies are available from the City Offices in Wilson Street. All feedback must be received by COB Friday 26 August and should be emailed to participant@ghd.com or posted to GHD, PO Box 1269, Launceston TAS 7250.
