Supported by Tasmanian Government

Supported by Tasmanian Government

The Burnie City Council with support of the Tasmanian Government are holding a Party in the Park at the Burnie Park Sound Shell to celebrate Youth Week 2019 and are seeking interested stallersholders to participate.

Party in the Park for Burnie Youth Week, on 13 April 2019, is an open air themed entertainment evening in central Burnie. There will be competitions, bands and a Sundown Cinema movie.

Burnie City Council Mayor Steve Kons said “this is a great opportunity to promote your group and the work you do to young people aged between 12 and 25. We are providing space for stalls run by young people from local groups such as sport, arts, music, dance, craft, professional or any other relevant interest group. Opportunities also exist for service providers that work with young people.”

Stalls will be required to open at 3pm and close (and pack up) prior to the movie screening at 6:30pm.

Interested stallholders please contact Burnie City Councils Youth Development Officer Dave Fregon on dfregon@gmail.com or ring 6430 5774 for more information.
