Prepare to be challenged!

Burnie’s extreme sporting event is on again!

Entries are now open for the 2018 Health Care Insurance Burnie Challenge to be held on Sunday 8 April starting at the Hellyer College oval at 11am.

Burnie City Council Mayor Alvwyn Boyd said, “The Challenge is an exciting and unique sporting event which is also affordable; we are therefore seeing participant numbers grow year on year.

“Whether you enter as an individual or as part of a team, teamwork is the key to successfully completing each obstacle and the overall course.”

The four kilometre course will have 14 muddy and muscle aching obstacles. The Health Care Insurance Burnie Challenge is a family friendly event with both young and old encouraged to have a go. It is only $10 for an individual or $30 for a team of four to participate.

Entries are now open at www.burniechallenge.com.au and can be paid online until 10am race morning.

Entries can be paid in person at the Burnie Council Chambers in the week leading up to the Challenge, or on the day up until 11am at the race site.
