Marine plaza will be quarantined due to a widening zombie outbreak Saturday 14 April starting at 6pm, coupled with an open air film night for young adults 15yrs and up in celebration of Youth Week Tasmania.

Dress up as the undead, a zombie, a ghoul, a witch, or some other foul creature of the dark and come along and support the efforts of young people to create a fantastic night of entertainment.

A theatre size screen, assorted food, stalls, events and random happenings are planned by young people from across our community, including those from YMCAB (Youth Making Changes Around Burnie), Girl Guides, Penguin Leo’s, Speak Out and others. Live bands will kick off after the movie with Mankind and 5 or 7 seeing us into the night.

A few bean bags and chairs will be available, but we recommend BYO rugs/seating to ensure your comfort.

The film provided will be rated M (not recommended for children under 15) and this is an alcohol free event.

If you are between 15 and 25 and want to contribute something to making this more awesome, contact Dave at dfregon@burnie.net or ring 6430 5774 8am to 4pm weekdays.

This event is fully funded by the Burnie City Council and is part of Youth Week Tasmania which will run from 13 to 22 April 2018.
