I am A Lake

Set on Tasmania’s rugged west coast, I Am A Lake is a coming of age story exploring the inextricably linked lives of Alice, Mum and Nugget.

Offering glimpses of humanity and compassion in a harsh landscape; I Am A Lake is a story that is both local and universal, compelling and confronting, and ultimately redemptive.

I Am A Lake will be performed in the Arts Theatre on Friday 9 March, 11.00 am (for high school groups) and 7.30 pm (for the general public).

Written by Cameron Hindrum, directed by Jane Johnson, and performed by Launceston’s Mudlark Theatre Company. This production was awarded Best Design for Sound Design in the Tasmanian Theatre Council Errol Awards.

Discounts are available for school group bookings – please enquire at the Box Office on 6430 5850.
