2019 Performing Arts Subscription Season

The team at Burnie Arts & Function Centre is thrilled to bring you the 2019 Subscription Season. The program seeks to cater for everyone with classical music, contemporary theatre, song & dance, comedy, jazz, Ten Days On The Island, ballet, family theatre and musical theatre.

The 2019 Season Launch included an update about Burnie Musical Society’s ‘Annie’ and local musician, Mason Waller provided live entertainment through the evening.

Our Centre continues to deliver an outstanding program of performing arts in the region because of the generous support we receive from MMG Rosebery (through the artsUNEARTHED Arts for the Community Program), and the Burnie City Council.

In total, an outstanding 16 productions are included in the 2019 Season:

  • Much Ado About Nothing (Bell Shakespeare Company)
  • Picasso and His Dog (Lemony S Puppet Theatre)
  • Downtown – The Songs of Petula Clark (Winding Road Productions)
  • Possum Magic (Monkey Baa Theatre Company)
  • The Nutcracker (Melbourne City Ballet)
