2018 Performing Arts Subscription Season

The team at Burnie Arts & Function Centre is thrilled to bring you the 2018 Subscription Season. The program seeks to cater for everyone with classical music, contemporary theatre, dance, jazz, opera, comedy, popular music, family theatre and musical theatre.

Special guest performances at the 2018 Season Launch included Danita Weatherstone, Lyric Soprano from Opera Australia, accompanied by our region’s own Jill Bacon on the piano, performing ‘Un bel di vedremo’ from Madame Butterfly. Reflexions Dance Studio performed an excerpt from ‘The Park Bench’, and Del Polden spoke about Burnie Musical Society’s: ‘The Boy From Oz’. Young, local talent: Ruby and Charlotte Austin-Lund provided live background entertainment throughout the evening.

Our Centre continues to deliver an outstanding program of performing arts in the region because of the generous support we receive from MMG Rosebery (through the artsUNEARTHED Arts for the Community Program), and the Burnie City Council.
