CONGRATULATIONS to Natone Primary School on their recent 60th Anniversary celebrations which included an Open Afternoon and Anniversary Dinner. Celebrating 60 years of education (1957 to 2017) is a fantastic achievement.

GOWANS Motor Group have also celebrated the Grand Opening of their new showroom and facilities in Burnie, making a significant investment in the North West Coast with this development.

THE official opening of the Fairy Godmothers’ Pregnancy and Infant Loss Memorial Wall will be held tomorrow evening, 22 November 2017, from 5.30pm at the Burnie Lawn Cemetery. The Memorial Wall was created to provide support and consolation to the many North West families who have suffered the loss of a child or children through miscarriage, stillbirth and neonatal death. Members of the community are invited to attend to show their support.

THE Colour Me Krazy fun run will be held on Sunday, 26 November between 11am and 2pm. The run has been organised by local youth leaders from the Burnie Youth Council, Hellyer College and Marist Regional College, and aims to raise money for the Burnie Youth Accommodation Service. The run is a circuit of the South Burnie beach where runners are covered by coloured powder at stations along its length. You can contribute either by buying a ticket and running in the event, or by making a donation if you are a business or organisation.
