IPWEA Tasmanian Municipal Standards
Burnie City Council has adopted the "Tasmanian Councils' Standards for Subdivisions" published by the Institute of Public Works Engineering Australia's (IPWEA) for the creation of new public assets.
These standards provide guidance to designers and contractors in the creation of new public assets and are intended to be used as a reference to ensure that a common approach is taken throughout Tasmania.
