Administration Officer

Part Time, Permanent - 30 hours per week.

The Opportunity

The Burnie Regional Museum is a source of knowledge, ideas, stories and memories. It is developed and managed as a community resource and aims to inspire, educate and inform the community and visitors and to contribute to the conservation of the history and heritage of the North-West region of Tasmania for future generations.

Council currently has a vacancy for an experienced and talented Administration Officer to assist in ensuring that this mission is upheld. 

The Role

This important position plays a key role in providing and delivery efficient and effective administrative responsibilities for the Burnie Regional Museum.

Reporting to and working closely alongside the Museum’s Curator, the successful candidate will have a varied role including the delivery of customer services, daily banking and financial requirements, volunteer liaison, retail duties and management of the gift store.
