Portside Heritage Listing
The Tasmanian Heritage Council is proposing the following place be permanently entered on the Tasmanian Heritage Register on the basis of the information and analysis presented below. Objections or submissions can be made in writing to Heritage Tasmania, 103 Macquarie Street, Hobart 7000 by 25 May 2008.
'Portside' and the Van Diemen's Land Company Cemetery
Council is supportive of this process and encourages its residents to submit their comments to Heritage Tasmania.
Council has commissioned a report from a Heritage Architect, David Denmen and based on his advice will be objecting to the listing of the Portside building.
